Newbie needs help w/ Spindle, VFD and George's USB controller

    Hello everyone!

I finally have my ViperX (30x48) built and hoping to see some wood chips fly.
I have a Teknomotor spindle with a Lenze VFD - does anyone know the correct wiring? Also, has anyone been able to get the Chinese USB controller to work with the VFD via Mach3? I'm sure anyone who has seen the documentation can go over it a dozen times and still get stuck (I know, its me...)
Any help is greatly appreciated. Pics will be uploaded soon.
Also can anyone recommend a nice set of collets?

    Milan

I did purchased set of collet but if I have to redo it, I will just buy individual collets and start with 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 .... i am using 1/4 the most and will buy more of them .... I bought few from allindustrialtoolsupply on ebay. Also remember that all the prices are negotiable :-) You will also need end mills etc., look for onsrudcutter2010 on ebay to get good deals.

Not sure what your end goal is but if you are interested in modeling work, then you may want to look at autocad inventor. I used two books to learn inventor one from Randy H. Shih and second from Curtis Waguespack. If you want to buy one book, start with Shih book (look at half.com for older version, you will save lot of money).

Good luck and I am sure you will enjoy the new machine.

PS: I used different electronics, can not help here.

    Regards,
