    mach is reading things backwards

    hello, to everyone outhere,
I am having this problem and maybe someone can tell me how it can be fix.
here it goes I downloded a program into mach3 but when I go into MDI to see how its running first of all the part is rotated (i think) about 180 degrees also when I am running the program and its cutting the part insted of doing a G2 its doing a G3 is there a setting where I can get this fix. also when I go to the diagnostics page there is a light blinking in the (OUTPUT SIGNALS CURRENT STATE) the light that is blinking is (output 1) can some let me know what does that means and how do I fix it. by the way I am using a laptop I hope that is the problem.
    thanks again

    Hi,
It sounds to me that you have one or more axis' reversed. Please see the Mach3 setup tutorial and make sure that you machine matches what is outlined in the Making the machine and DRO's move in harmony section, starting on page 8.

Regarding the output 1 blinking. You have something setup to activate output 1.... Perhaps you have the spindle or coolant or something else setup. If you want to disable it, just go to Config/Ports & Pins/Output signals and disable Output1 (Red cross in the Enabled column)

Okay, so I know this post was from 2 years ago. However, that Mach 3 setup tutorial was the most help out of everything I've found. Follow this and you will have results.

Same thing. One of your axis is setup backwards. Change it Homing/Limits, check the 'Reverse" box.
