Image to Sculpture MASTERCAM X3 ART.

    Hi people.
I am new to Mastercam x3 and would like to know if anyone have done a 3d sculpture from an image. The way the Dog or the girl is done in the following http://www.mastercam.se/mastercam/page.asp?id=7. I will appreciate anyone who can give me a step-by-step process.
    Regards

If you go to start, programs, mastercam x3 you will see a Documentation folder in there this folder has a Mastercam Art Tutorial PDF file in there. This should show some of the stuff you are looking for.

I read through the tutorial. i was able to make a lithophane but dont know how to output result to surface.

im quoting from the tutorial "This process is also called 256 gray scale conversion. You set the height
range, and Mastercam X2 Art sorts the points by gray scale into the
correct Z level, creating a base surface. You can output the result to STL
    or to Mastercam surfaces."

i need to come up with a sculpture.

Thank you for the feedback. I am trying to work on my own photo but it wont come out right. too many distortions. the face does not come out smooth. like the girl in the art picture. are you able to make sculptures?
