Red face 5 axis Pick and Place robot FOR SALE

I have access to several 5 axis pick and place robots.
They are quite large, and INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH construction.
I am considering converting this for CNC router work.
These units are capable of reaching 5' x 12' with a "Z" axis of over 18".
I am looking into buying (2) of these {though I only need one}.
Would anyone be interested in buying the other unit?
If you would be interested you may email me with any questions.
If I am to secure these units I need to make arrangements within the next week to 10 days. Time is of the essence. The current owners need the space and want removal A.S.A.P.
    Sincerly:

Bob is this an articulate arm or some sort of gantry system? Price? Weight?

    Mike:
This is a full cantilevered gantry unit. 12' main structure which bolts to the floor, and a 5'+ gantry arm that is cantilevered off the main structure. then the "Z" axis works up and down from the center guides of the arm. There is a set of articulating (sp) pivot points at the bottom of the "Z" axis. This system is SUPER STRONG!!! Can easily handle a large router.
As to the weight? I am guessing at well over 2000#s.
Price will be discussed with those who have a genuine interest, and the ability to make an immediate decision. I can tell you that it is well below the cost to build a 4'x8' home built CNC.
Anyone wishing to talk to me about purchasing can contact me privately by EMail.

    Thanks Bob

Bob am I seeing this right. There is a base that is bolted to the floor on one end and everything else is cantilevered off of that??

    Exclamation

    Mike:
    That is correct.

When I first encountered these I was very suprised by the design. However, if you think about it the openess gives some very interesting possibilities. It will require putting these in with a substantial base (concrete footer) but the openess would allow tremendous versatility.

    P.S.
I believe that you could very easily add a support to the end of the long gantry arm if you desired to, but the units are DESIGNED to opporate without additional support

    HUGE PRICE REDUCTION!

The owners of these machines called me and said he MUST move them to get the floor space for new equipment coming in.
He has made me a rediculous price. but i can only use one of the machines. If I can find someone to buy the other unit we both can have a machine capabil of routing 5' x12' material.

Any one interested should contact me before July 4th.
I am talking about a COMMERCIAL strength robot for under $4000.00.
If you are interested contact me IMMEDIATELY, or this deal will be gone.

    Thanks Bob Cole

Bob pm sent. Do these machines have the electronics with them, i.e. motors drives etc. Do they use ball screws, belts or rack and pinion?

    Mike:
Everything is there as far as I can see. No oporater manuals though.
The main 12' axis is rack & pinion with servo motor, the "Y" axis is pnuematic drive on THK rails{ I will be converting that to servo drive} and the "Z" axis is servo, belt drive.
