    Question slosyn drives

    Hi Guys..I actually run my lathe with 270 oz steppers and ss2000md7 drives
    using turbocnc..all is well
    I then tried to use mach3 instead of turbocnc..
    the problem i have is :i can't run my motors as fast as i do with turbocnc
    at a certain point a whining sound apeears and the motor stops turning..

    What is causing that..
    I tried different acceleration values etc. and no success.. Thanks

    By any luck Is somebody on this forum using SS2000md7 drives with Mach3?

    Try going into ports and pins and checking the box for "Sherline 1/2 pulse mode"
