    Welcome to CNCZone Amir!
You will find many knowledgeable people from across the globe here who are willing to help. The key to getting replies it is to be specific in your help request and place it in the right forum. Keeping conversation light friendly and somewhat focused on the application is always a plus ...
I am learning a ton about motion control from all these guys.
    Good luck!

I assume you mean how the PLC interacts with the CNC side in a system such as Fanuc, Mitsubishi and others?
And how the operator interface in the PLC controls the CNC side, and how the M,S & T codes issued by the CNC side are passed over to the PLC for processing?
All of the above are implemented in the PLC ladder and many of the controls like the ones named above use a similar method.
If this is what you are looking for, the way it is done can be expanded on if you have specific questions.

The servo axis desigation refers to the Cartesian Coordinate system see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cartesi...rdinate_system
For some further info this site has some free advice on the definitions of CNC in general.
    http://www.cncci.com/index.html
It would help to know if you are looking at a specific CNC control or PLC in general.
BTW early CNC systems featured out-board PLC's where you could use the PLC of your choice, now most integrated systems include the PLC as a co-processor to the CNC controller and comunicate over a common back-plane.

The design and building of a welding robot is no mean feat, I would be inclined to look for a used unit to adapt as older robots can often be picked up for a reasonable price, is your background Mechanical or Electrical?

I see by your other thread that you want to write applications in C++ etc, If you want to go that route you could use a Galil card www.galilmc.com,see some of the instructional videos, they supply C++ and VB drivers for self developers.
Their products are powerfull multi-axis servo cards that sit in a PC (computer) slot.
They can be interfaced to many makes and types of analogue, stepper and network servo drives.
Look at the tutorials on the site for a better understanding of the equipment.
