    Delegrange 4-axis baord ?

Anyone have experience with this driver/sys board?

I like the all-in-one approach. Seems the motor control concept and or drives are somewhat different than others.

It is a unipolar driver,,, and you have to provide load resistors to limit the current to the motors. Having the relays on board is convenient, but personally, after starting out with a unipolar driver with the load resistors, I much prefer the Xylotex board. Bipolar, and the current is controlled by PWM. it can't handle the 10 amps that Dtllc offers, but I believe that any driver with a chopper circuit to control the current is more efficient than using resistors.

Most people will tell you to go with microstepping chopper drives. The most popular being Xylotex or HobbyCNC up to 3 amps, and Gecko's for higher current motors.

Thanks for the info... I was leaning toward the Xylotex 4-Axis board, but this one was intriguing. Since I have Bi-Polar steppers, Xylotex it is...

Now onto buying the goodies to make complete system.
