    Liberty CNC Routers - Comments?

I'm thinking of buying a Liberty CNC. But the Liberty Website has no information at all. I guess I will call them Monday. If I get any info I will post it here.

If you own a Liberty give us a comment about how you like it, how fast it is, and any specs you have on it. Don't forget to tell us what model you have!

Some of the Info I Seek:
    -----------------------------------
    Overall size?
    Work area size?
    Travel distance for X,Y,Z?
What is the resolution on all three axis?
    What is the accuracy?
    Speed?
What brand and what power spindle?
    Stepper motors or servos?
    What oz Stepper motors?
What is the table and structure made of?
What kind of rods and motion screws? Steel? Plated?
What kind of computer interface? Serial? Parallel? Other?
Does it run on standard 110 Volt household power?
What software, if any, comes with it?
Will it work with other software? Like ArtCam Pro?
    Does it use "G & M code"?
    Do you have more pictures?
    Warrenty?
    How much is shipping?
Anything else I need to buy?

    TIA

I waited a bit to answer to this thread, but heres my thoughts....

    1. It took alot longer to get my machine then stated when ordering.

2.Machine is solid and well built!

    3. Customer service is great and replacment parts got here very quick(bad control board).

    1. I got the small machine:
    2. Cutting area is 15"x11"x4"
    3. Porter cable laminant(SP) trimmer.
    4. Table is MDF, machine is Aulm.
    5. I'm using Flash cut to control the motors.
    6. Yes, it comes with control software(DOS program) and a few others. I spoke to Charles and He has a windows based controler due out soon. All machines sold in the past year will get a copy free.
    7. Uses G and M code
    8. 110V household current
    9. 2 year warrenty
    10. With Mach 2 I can get around 50 ipm.
    11. Motors are nema 23 size steppers.
    12. Shipping was around $100 to NJ.
