    Disk Spring life over

    Please...any advice

    How do i reset/repair a 2005 message (disk spring life over) on a fanuc robodrill T14

    Enter 0 as the current values of PMC counter 001 and 002.

    Calculate the spring life yourself... Ignore the Ray 2500lb comment. Yours is almost certainly different.

    Thank you both for your replay.

    I think I'll contact fanuc on this one, i could reset the counter but I think springs may need to be replaced/inspect...to calculate spring life myself...mmmmm after I saw your excel sheet, I know this is out of my league.

    Thank you for your time and imputs, I'm sure what I need to do now.

    If you know what your springs are like, measure them and enter.
    It is all too easy. I am sure you can measure spring thickness, open height, and diameters.
    That's it. Feed in the the stack configuration. 4x2 etc.
    Look at 25% 50% and 80% and look at the graph. Fiddle compression and see where fatigue life gets bad.
    No harm in trying. I did.
