Setup and operate conventional CAM machines and/or computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts. Required knowledge in programming to run CNC machines. Experience in the use of manual machining tools, such as mill, lathes and grinders. Ability to make tools in-house to support production requirement. Working knowledge of SPC, first article, and in-process inspection requirement, using inspection equipment such as calipers, toolmakers' microscope, compactor, blade mic, standard/conventional microscopic, and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Must have working knowledge of of metal properties, understand and able to read blue prints. Must possess good mathematical skills

Ability to read blue print and calculate averages and nominal values. Possess good mechanical skills and problem-solving skills. Use of inspection tools such as calipers, conventional microscopic, and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Use of machining tools such as lathes and grinders. CNC programming is a plus. Must have good math skills
