    Course

    Hi, looking to change career. Have a love for machinery and computers, would like to operate cnc. Is there any free courses or lit on the subject.

    I wish you were in the Maine area!!!! I do have an A+ certification in computers and a boiler license, which means very comfortable with working on large equipment.

    check around for local trade schools in your area. They will sometimes have a fancy name for the course of study. My local trade school called it "Machine Tool Technologies". It was fairly cheap as well, much cheaper than at the university. pell grants and scholarships are usually available as well.
