G540 X axis dead(?) both red and green lit

It seems as though my X axis drive has stopped working while the Y and Z are functional and for some reason the red Fault and green Power lights are both lit.

I have been attempting to calibrate the FLA-100 (with Mach3) that I recently purchased and assembled. Quite a bit of drift over any distance on the X axis. I set the digital calipers into a vice bolted to the table, calibrated steps per unit for the Y and Z and got consistant measurements. The X axis overshot or undershot until I changed the 'step pulse' and 'dir pulse' from 0,0 to 2,2. Was much more consistent, then did a test cut of a 4" x 4" square (shallow with multiple passes) seemed to skip (backlash) and the 4" x 4" turned into a 4" x 3.87".

So I uninstalled the mdf table, disconnected the X axis leadnut from the leadscrew to clean the rails and check the linear movement. The I noticed the X axis was not moving (Y and Z do) and both the power and fault lights were lit.

Any help / advice is very appreciated!

    Sean
