I seem to be getting small wobbly parts using contouring in my planar toolpath. They seem to make reasonable marks in my stock.
I have tried to crank the settings down but I still get some problems

I think you may need to post something for us to see. Can you post some screenshots of your madCAM paths?

This is with a small tool tolerance and refined mesh settings, it doesnt look like much but it seem to get reasonable pitting on my work. That could be because of sudden speed changes due to the toolpath.
I've experienced the same thing in a project, but that was solved when I found out that the mesh settings weren't correct. I use mm and have 0.01 in Distance edge to surface and Jagged Seams enabled. I'm not sure, but it may be that you have to re-select the model after the mesh settings update.
Also, what is the tolerance for the tool you have used?
My tool tolerance on this was 0.0005, it was very fine and my mesh setting was 0.005 (distance edge to surface). If I have bigger settings the toolpath is generally worse.
Also on a different note does any one know what the best pp is for a dsp controller. I think I've been using the right one but can never be too sure.
