    grizzly sale

Guys that have been there . What kind of prices should I expect to see off of mills. I plan on sleeping in line tonight. But I want to get the biggest mill I can afford so I want to go for the biggest one first.
Any tips from the members that been there .
    Thanks

Hey guys so I went to the sale. Grabbed a g0704 for 595$ Stand was scratched up and dented. They had awesome deals though. There was a sieg SX4 that went for 2200$ I wish I had the money .
Im going to start saving maybe next year.
Should be a nice improvement over my SX1 micro mill.

Very cool - have considered driving out there (from SW CT also) but never seem to have enough "spare change" to make the trip worthwhile...

It sure will be, good catch.
Were there many g0704's there for sale?
Any note saying why it was returned, put in the tent sale?

It said only thing wrong with it was dented stand. The stand has light scratches on the back side .
I found that hard to believe . After taking it apart I got to the motor . There were 3 cap bolt and one screw . So some one was in the motor area but the motor seems to work fine.
Then I moved onto the Z axis as it was so hard to use. Again there were only 3 cap bolt 4 one missing. I cleaned the grease off the china shipping grease off the two gears and adjusted the two nuts until I found it to be easy on my arm.
The tool kit was opened but the R8 drill was in the brand new package. T nuts are gone.
Im missing some gib locks. All in all Im happy

    Hoss there were probably 4 g0704s a rf45 and sx4 .

The motor normally only has 3 cap Bolts and 1 screw. The screw is used to provide clearance for the gear.

You wold think they would use a beveled cap bolt rather than a Philips head screw .
