    cnc only moves when i move my mouse

    I have a cnc 3040 it makes a loud grinding noise and skips steps when i move it ,but if i move my mouse in any direction while i try to move the cnc it moves fine but only while i move the mouse if i stop moving the mouse it starts making the noise and skipping steps and going slow

    If anybody can explain to me why it is doing this and tell me a solution i would greatly appreciate it
