    Need Help!!

    Hi Guys,
    Just got my CNC Router setup. everything is working ok but the spindle. The spindle is hooked to an ATV312 motor drive. Initially the drive didn't work, so had it replaced by the company. Unfortunately, the replacement inverter also came on for a while and just started smoking. I have followed all procedure regarding wiring for this device.(Btw, it's a 220V, 3-phase variable speed drive). Would really appreciate any help from you guys, cos I think my supplier is really getting something wrong with this setup.

    Hi Harles,

    I think you should better call the manufacturer. If you followed all instructions, then there could be some factory defects.

    Thanx daniel28, but do you have any idea about powering the spindle apart from using an inverter.
