    hi there
don't let it run this way you damage or destroy the belt.
your end switch does not work you need to look at the carrier left side under there is a tong on the carrier what carries the laser head and on the carier bar is a module what looks like a two prong fork . the tong ahs to go inside this fork sometimes the tong is ether bended or broken . that's the reason why the X carrier don't stop on home position.
you should post another picture with the left inside of the machine what shows what motherboard you have and what are the driver for the stepper is.
    greetings

Hi, I just bought the same machine and have exactly the same problem with the one in the video. Basically when I turn the machine on, the laser head will move to top left. Problem comes in when the laser head is reaching toward the X axis switch on the left, it will stuck and make lots of noises caused by the bottom metal plate of the laser head hitting with the left metal frame. Either they set the laser head too low or make the left frame too tall. I'm still in the middle of trying to solve this too, will update when I managed fix this.

    cheers,
    simon

Here's the photo I took, with some notes to explain the situation.

Basically the switch on the left for X axis was not hit by the metal plate so it keeps going to the left and makes lots of noises because the bottom metal plate of the x axis carrier hitting the metal frame on the left.

I managed to solve this problem by replacing the X axis carrier with the new one. Now it goes smoothly all the way and hits the X axis switch on the left and stops there.

    Hi Simon,
When you home the machine and it kept hitting and giving noise after the limit switch touched the metal plate. Normally bes the limit switch or the metal plate is in a wrong place. In factory we often fix this by removing the position of this two things a little bit . I am happy to know you fix this by change a X axis carrier. Maybe the designer did not consider the distance between machine frame and X carrier .
