    Problems with feed rate

    Hello from Germany.

-Please use simple english to answer!-

Because I cant find good informations into the german Forum I try to get it here.
Normally I mill wood but to build a new CNC Machine I must mill often Aluminiuim. There I need lower feed rate and thats the problem ;o(
I change the X/Y feed into the tool parameters but in the GCode my Machine uses the old 900mm/min and not the Alu-material-feed from 350mm/min. I must lowering the feed rate at Mach and then all feeds reduce. Also the feeds outside the material...
If I change the settings to create the Gcode and edit the material feed in the last step (picture) and edit the rate there, then Mach uses the Z-speed from 50mm/min for x/y movings.

What I must do to get the feed rates I give into madcam???

    Thank you, Ron

Make your changes to the feed and speed, then make sure to save your changes.

    Re: Problems with feed rate

    Hello.

I think I sove the Problem but now I have a new question.

The tool should pull down with a ramp of 40 deg into the material. And I see that the feed madcam uses to make this ramp is the X/Y feed (F=350) and not the Z-feed (F=50). Thats real?
What I can do to get a lower feed on the ramp?

The FeedZ is only applicable when the tool is feeding down, approaching the cut. It then switches to the FeedXY rate. The ramp is considered a FeedXY cut. What I would suggest is that you ramp in at lower angle so that the FeedXY is appropriate, and doesn't overload the cutter. For example, when we are cutting steel, we use 2
