I had to reinitialize my BMU board and now i cant get my RS232 to work. I have settings set to 1 on tape reader and 1 on RS232, TV is off. When i try to load a program i get an alarm 85 if i remember right. It is trying to communicate with the computer but the baud rate or something just isnt jiveing.

So my question is what parameter do you change on the 6TA control? I cant seem to find the parameter settings to adjust RS232 port settings in the manual. My parameter list only goes up to like 160 or something unlike the 6B controls.

Prm 24 bit 0= 1 (two stop bits)
Prm 25= 11101111 (baudrate 4800)
Prm26 bit 7 =0

I guess you never changed anything on the pcb A20B-0007-0060 / 0061
right? jumpers?

Aha. I dont think my manual has those parameters listed. I will give that a try. Thanks.

That got it. I dont know why they couldnt have bothered to include those parameters in the manual.
