    How would you do this?

    Hello gentlemen,

    I'm having some issues properly setting this part up in BobCad and was wondering if anyone had a pointer or two for me. I can't even manage to get a tool path to display! :/ It's a cap with alignment pins machined onto it rather than drilled and pressed in.

    A simple open pocket with islands will do it for you, see image below.

    The outer shape would be a normal profile.

    Perfect! I'm not sure I did exactly what you were suggesting, but got it working!

    I think my problem was that I was only selecting the circles. So I selected all of the stocks perimeter and turned it into the dotted line and then selected the circles, bingo!
