    Stone Cutting with Router CNC...

I have been cutting on this CNC from Eurotech manufacture up here in Vancouver, B.C for about 6 months now. Its a prototype CNC, so its kinda slow...But it works ok. I am just curious on where i can find how to calculate feeds and speeds on cutting stone like granite and marble...OR a formula to calculate this with both diamond fingers bits and polishing tools of various sizes and materials. I've been lookin everwhere, but not much luck. I found formulas, but there are variables that i cant seem to figure out, so it confuses me even more. I jus look for a software now and i know there is one, bu cant find....SO please help me if u can. I am practically begging:P...thanks in advance

There is not going to be any data source like that.
The "standard" you are looking for is going to come from the tools. Depending on how the tools are made, provides rpm, feed, friction... Ask your supplier.

    NOTE!
That is just the starting point.

YOU must account for the torque, hp, stress...
    What your machine can handle?
Being a prototype, you know who ask for this info.

If the machine & spindle are solid, and designed for this, the tool data will provide a great starting point.

    JEST is right.

We use ADI tools and they have the feeds and speeds for there tools, but it also depends on the type of stone you are cutting. Soft granite is going to cut faster than hard granite.

The way I found out is to set the feed and speed per tool mgf. and keep your eye on the amp meter for each different type of stone and keep a log book.
