    Setting origin

    Hi folks.
I'm a new member and have just got started with my laser.
My machine is a Redsail X700 from eBay 700mm x 500mm work area.
I have to say some of the engineering leaves a lot to be desired, but for the money, I really couldn't expect better I suppose.
The manual for the controller is the usual Chinglish, and hard to read, I really wish these companies would spend a few quid (pounds) on getting a decent interpreter. Haha!
Any way, here's my first question for anyone with the same or similar machine. On initial turn on the origin was set at back right, but somehow whilst playing, I seem to have changed it. It's still back right, but not quite as far back and slightly left of where the original origin was. I can't make any sense of the manual as regards resetting it. Any ideas? Below are a couple of pics for machine and controller
    Cheers.
    Andy.

Simply press the Green "Origin" marked button on that control panel you uploaded to set it wherever you want it.

    Thanks for your help Keith.
I tried that, but doesn't seem to set anything.
Could you do me a step by step, just in case I'm doing something in the wrong order.
    I.E.
1: move head to where you want origin.
    2: press 'origin' button.
    3: etc etc
The panel doesn't seem very user friendly, that and the poor instructions make simple things not so simple
    Cheers.
    Andy.

Sorry Andy I don't have your laser. Try searching google that's how I figured out most of mine, and download the software for your control panel and software. Google the names of each component + manual is how I found most of mine.

Besides the language barrier how are you liking the machine? Looks nice in your photo. I've seen these on ebay and always wondered about them. You said the engineering left something to be desired. What are the Pro/Cons as you see them?

    Hi Andy,
from the pictures, I can see that you enter into wrong interface, maybe you change the settings, the machine can't work normally.
I think their controller is also RDC6442G, right?
you can visit our website to learn how to use the software and panel.
