Okay I am looking for some major help.
I have been looking for the correct thing to do, either build my own CNC machine from scratch, rough cost £2,000.00 this woud be a ballscrew (16mm) and linear rail (20mm) system (X800, Y1000, Z300). NEMA23 with CNCUSB.
Or
Purchase a kit, the kits I am looking at are;
Shapeoko, OOZNEST machines C-Beam or OX CNC, RoboCutters C-Beam MaxPro.
These are all about £1,500.00

Its a great deal of money to spend but I want to make sure I try to get it right.
Belt drive is the cheapest but not as accurate, ACME is the next but the kits are only 12mm, Ballscrews are the area I am more familiar with, and rack & pinion is not in my league.

I am sorry if this question has been asked, but needs must again sorry.

If done right, your $2000 DIY machine will be far superior to any of the others you mentioned.
