    pulse jet or ram jet

Hi !!! i'm i have modified my 92 jetta to 350 hp with an all costom engine and injection ... but after a while it still not enough . just to say , i'm a bit crazy and would like to built 3X 200 pound of thrust pulse or ram jet and stock them in the trunk so it gives a blast of thrust at high speed . ive got lots of jet plans and a calculator for every part i need . what i dont have is the formula to calculate if 600 pound is enough to push my 800 kg cars faster on the 1/4 mile (at the drag strip) .and how faster would that get me . by the way i have a friend who own a stainless steel machine shop so it's easy for me to access parts for my jets. so should i go pulse or ram ??????????

    thanks

well since a ram jet won't work until it is alreadys supersonic, you should probably focus on the pulse jet.
