Does anyone know how to use this DRO?

Does anyone have instructions or a simple explanation of how the test, reset, and preset functions work on this DRO? It seems that two coordinate systems can be used.
    Thanks!

I'm just guessing, but Reset likely will zero the selected axis, so you would hit X + Reset to reset the X axis. When you want to enter the present position into the unit, and it is not a zero position, then I suppose you press an axis letter, type in a number and hit Preset to insert the value into the display for that axis.

Test, I don't know but if you press it, I'm sure you will figure out something. Just make sure you have already studied up for it!

Maybe Test is for "Guess where the axis is now" and you enter what you think it is, and it beeps Yes or No.
First you get good, then you get fast. Then grouchiness sets in.

(Note: The opinions expressed in this post are my own and are not necessarily those of CNCzone and its management)
