    Spindle Stalls Out

I have a partner 1 with a centurion v controller. My problem is the spindle stalls out easily(cuts out machine power) At 300 rpm I can grab the spindle by hand and kick out the power. This machine is new to me, is there a setting in the parameters to fix this problem. Spindle belts are tight. Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

unfortunatly the partners spindle motors HP is rated at top rpm's,they dont have alot of low rpm power,im surprised you can stahl it by hand,i used to own on and dont remember running it that low but it would stahl easy
did you check to make sure you have the proper voltage to the machine?
theres no parameter to fix it that i know of,make sure the voltage is correct
and if you wired it for a different voltage make sure all the machines transformers have been rewired,i think its not getting the right voltage, start by checking the manual and check your line voltage

Does your machine have two pulley positions for high and low speeds? Our 1995 Partner I has two belts that need to be changed to the lower rpm position for the proper torque at low speeds, takes about 5 to 15 minutes. If you change the belt position, you should also change the parameters so the rpm runs correctly to match your program. A real pain in the butt. We leave it in the high range and use another machine for heavy cutting of steel. In 11 years we’ve only changed it a few times. 95% of everything we cut is aluminum in that old machine. Hope this helps.

When you say cuts out machine power does the machine e-stop
or does the machine totaly go dead?
What is the max rpm of the spindle? If it is a 10k spindle it is not going to have any torque at 300. The older machines had 3 belt ranges.
