    How is this done...?

How is the bed top fastened to the bed assembly?

How are both the bed assembly and the base support structure fastened to the motor side and bearing side supports?

I've came this far and donnot want to make any major mistakes.

It may be obvious to a lot of people, but I'm not much of a wood worker.

    Best Regards,
    Stephen Blair

I used 8 bolts with flat washers. I haven't glued them because I want to be able to take it apart again if needed. Don't really need to either, cause it's very rigid this way

I did the same thing I used bolts and washers through the side into the torque box fram to be able to dissassemble and get to the gantry cross brace and abnut if I need to. As for the top I drilled evenlly spaced holes and counter sunk them and ran wood deck screws through the top into the torque box top when machine was done and running true I used a 1/2 inch mill and milled the surface to make it true with the rest of the machine. Only thing I can say is if you are going to use the double sided carpet tape hold down method dont mill the top of the cut bed as MDF is soft and peels once you get the harder outer layer off.
