    Horizontal Machining Center - Ovality in Job

    Dear Sir

    We have got a HMC where we are facing problem of ovality in Bore

    Spindle tool clamping force found alright

    There is sound from Spindle, we would do Condition Based Monitoring to ascertain status of Spindle Bearing

    Please let us know what else could be causing ovality in job upto 30 microns

    Did you check the coupling between motor and the Spindle? Is it V belt coupling?
