Buying new 5 axis cnc machine DMG or Makino

    Dear Sir/Madam,

We are interested in your opinion on the selection of a new machining center for our toolroom. Our toolroom manufactures rubber injection molds ranging in size from 100x100 to 600x500 mm, with a required final accuracy of 0.01 mm. Currently, we have the following machines in our toolroom:

DMG Monoblock 60 (year of manufacture: 2007)
DMG DMC 1150V (year of manufacture: 2016)
Makino EDAF 3 (year of manufacture: 2020)
    Makino U6 Heat
Fanuc Robodrill (year of manufacture: 2022)
We are considering the purchase of a new machine and are deciding between:

    DMG Monoblock 75 2nd generation
    Makino D500
The DMG Monoblock 75 features the Haidenhain 7 operating system, which is familiar to me and facilitates the production of complex parts. The Makino D500, on the other hand, utilizes their P6 control system with Fanuc control, offering numerous options, but its user interface is unfamiliar and demanding for me.

Specifications for the DMG Monoblock 75 machine (2nd generation):

    Basic machine:

    DMU 75 monoBLOCK 2nd Gen
    CELOS X with Heidenhain TNC7
    Options for spindle:
    Spindle taper HSK-A 63 with 20000 RPM
    Cooling supply / chip removal:
    Production package 40 bar/23 l/min, 600 l tank
    Rotating clear-view window
    Coolant ring jet
    Spray pistol for chip rinsing
Cooling air blast - spindle center
    Measuring / Monitoring:
    Infrared measuring probe Heidenhain
    Laser tool measuring BLUM DIGILOG
    VCS Complete
    Sensor package i4.0
    General options:
    Operation mode 4
    Options for HEIDENHAIN control:
    Die & Mold Package
    Documentation:
    Documentation 1 English
    Electric circuit diagram German

Specifications for the 5-Axis Vertical Machining Center D500:

    Technical Data:
20,000 rpm spindle; Spindle taper HSK-A63
    Rotary encoder (A, C-axis)
Table with T-slots or Pallet-Table Specification
    60-tool ATC
    Scale feedback (X, Y, Z)
    Automatic grease supply unit
Base coolant (ATC side) and Scrape conveyor (operator side)
Height of chip drop 850mm, tank capacity 820l
    8-nozzle coolant (ATC side)
    Through spindle air
    Through spindle coolant and air
    Air Blower (1 Nozzle)
Operator door lock & ATC door lock
Portable manual pulse generator (with tool position display)
32 characters alphanumeric program file name input
    User memory 2GB + 1GB
    Common macro variables 1100
Workpiece coordinate system pairs 54 (6+48)
    Eight (8) Digit Tool Codes
    Z axis retract

Which Machine would you choose or do any of you have experience with both machines?
I know that both machines are excellent, which makes the decision even more difficult.

    Yours faithfully,
    Matej
