    Italmac Pegaso 7000 not homing

Would anyone have wiring diagrams for the about CNC. When homing the z starts to move but then the tool trips out the power light on console. Strange thing is that I can job the tool about no problems. I am suspecting something with the safety circuit but have no drawings.
    Thanks

When homing, the Z-axis moves to find its home or limit switches.
If these switches or associated wiring are faulty.
For example, incorrectly wired, broken, shorted, or triggering prematurely
the machine may detect an unsafe condition and trigger a tool trip or power cut.
However, manually jogging the axis later bypasses that homing sequence,
which is why you can still move.

Thanks for your input, I'll double check wiring, although if I drive to limits the tool will message that it's at limit, when homing the safety circuit just trips after a second or so regardless of where the z is on its travel without any messages, which is the most frustrating thing.
I'll get it finished sometime after I start it.....

    Solved!
Thanks cncmaker001, on this machine there is an independent clamp setter/parts loader, one of its axis was blocked from making it's home switch which caused the machine to trip out safety circuit. I was focused in the head as I had been repairing broken wires going to the spindle. Thanks for the heads up.
