AlphaCam 2012 + Xilog Plus - Output NC no .pgm file type option

    Hey guys,

Desperately could use some help. In AlphaCam when I click 'Output NC' I don't have the option to select .PGM files from the file types. I have Xilog set as the post processor, I checked the 'Alternative File Extensions' add on, and even have another computer with the same config and settings (as far as I can tell) working fine. Both Windows 10 machines if that matters. Is there something I'm missing, if I can provide more info to help solve please let me know.

It sounds like your AlphaCam configuration isn't recognizing the .PGM file extension for some reason, even though you have Xilog set as your post processor.
    1. Verify Post Processor Configuration
Double-check that the post processor configuration on the machine where it's not working matches the one where it works.
Go to Machine > Setup and ensure the Xilog post processor is correctly selected.
    2. Check File Extensions Settings
Open AlphaCam, go to Machine > Advanced Settings or a similar section depending on your version.
Ensure .PGM is listed under Alternative File Extensions. If not, manually add it.
    3. Compare Settings with the Working Computer
Export the working machine's configuration settings:
    Go to the working computer.
Export the post processor and machine configuration.
Import these settings on the problematic computer:
On the problematic machine, replace the existing configuration with the imported file.
    4. Permissions Check
Ensure that the problematic machine has proper read/write permissions for AlphaCam directories and configuration files.
Run AlphaCam as an administrator and check if the .PGM option appears.
    5. Reinstall/Repair AlphaCam
If none of the above steps work, there might be a missing or corrupt file in the AlphaCam installation on the problematic computer.
Try running a repair installation or reinstalling AlphaCam on the non-working machine.
    6. Registry or Environmental Differences
Use a tool like Sysinternals Process Monitor to check if there are differences in how AlphaCam accesses files or the registry during output.
Ensure that all dependencies and drivers for AlphaCam are consistent across both systems.
    7. Windows-Specific Differences
Check that both machines have the same Windows language, regional settings, and version.
Sometimes, issues with file handling can be tied to these differences.

There is no option to select XILOG as post processor in alphacam. Can you send screenshot please where is it.
