cannot select object for v carve or engrave after emboss from image bobcad v34

After doing a bobart emboss from image in bobart then going to cam tree, stock wizard selects the art image and sets up the stock, then I go to vcarve or Mill 2axis, select geometry does not select anything....... Help Please. I am using bobcad V34.

BobArt creates a “surface”. Vcarve and Mill 2 Axis will be looking for “curves” as 2d operations. If you want to toolpath a BobArt surface you will want to choose a 3d toolpath….

In BobCAD V34, if you cannot select the image generated by BobART relief for V-shaped engraving or 2-axis milling, you can solve it by following the steps below: First, export the relief image as CAD curves (Export to CAD as Curves) in BobART. If it is still not selectable, you need to convert it to editable curves through Geometry?Convert To and check the closure (V-shaped engraving requires a closed contour). After entering the CAM module, when adding machining features in Machine Setup, you need to make sure that the curve option is turned on by selecting the filter (Ctrl+F). If necessary, try to re-export the DXF/EPS format or use the vector redraw function to simplify complex graphics. This problem is usually caused by the relief generating surface/mesh data rather than 2D vectors that can be recognized by CAM. The tool path can be generated normally through format conversion and geometry repair.
