I just started getting a low voltage 160 alarm on my 98 Haas VFE over the last two weeks. I have had a similar problem in the past and have been able to fix it by adjusting the A to D pot. Details in this post here: https://www.cnczone.com/forums/haas-...ml#post2456058
Adjusting the A to D pot worked initially and then I had one of my guys running the machine for a few days this week and I walked in to find the 160 alarm on again. I checked the DC bus voltage on the diagnostic page and it was no longer just below the 145V it was at 0V. I've never seen it at zero before. Adjusting the A to D pot now doesn't change the reading on the controller. No matter how many turns in either direction its 0V.
I've troubleshooted what I know and what I can find information on, but not sure what to check at this point. Here are reading that I have gotten:
Measurements on the Magnetek GPD515:
(For 210-195V tap)
L1-L2= 243.5v
L1-L3= 244.3v
L2-L3= 243.5v
L1-g = 139.9v
L2-g= 140.0v
L3-g= 140.7v
DC Bus= 337.2vdc
Incoming power on 210-195V tap:
1-2= 209.8V
1-3= 210.9V
2-3= 209.6V
Any help on what I should be checking next would be much appreciated.
Cheers
