    Huanyang Spindle troubles

My name is Russ. In Florida. I'm new to this site. Was searching the web for assistance and found this site. I run a Next Wave CNC with a New Huanyang Spindle. 3hp 110 volt 2.2KW 20A 0.50 - 400 Hz. Below are the paramiters I'm useing which were sent to me by the seller. (Ebay).
The problem I'm having is at startup. If I start below 10,000 rpm's. It starts up fine. When I start up over 10,000 rpm's, I can hear the spindle kick on and immedietly kick off and give the following code {E.OC.n}. So now. Every start up. I have to dial back the rpm control all the way down. 7200 rpm's. Start it up and then dial it up to my running rpm's and it will run fine. Any ideas, suggestions or help is greatly apprciated.

The error code {E.OC.n} on the Huanyang VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) stands for an overcurrent error during acceleration.
Specifically, it’s happening at startup when high RPMs are commanded immediately.

Okay. How do I fix it? AS stated. All these settings are per the seller. What do I need to change?

    Re: Huanyang Spindle troubles

Okay. I changed PD025 (Starting Mode) from 1 to 0. That solved my issue. The spindle starts fine now at any speed.
I have one remaining issue. I would like to see the rpm's decrease as it's shutting down. My last VFD showed the numbers as it was slowing down. It's more of a safety issue with me. I find myself always looking up at the VFD watching it drop to zero for confirmation. This new VFD goes from Running speed to zero instantly while the spindle slows to a stop. Where in the settings can I adjust that?
