    8020 cad drawing

I download some 3d dwg drawings from 8020.net, but i can't open it with solidwork. i received this message

" The Solidworks DXF/DWG trasator supports DXF/DWG files of revision 12 and above. Earlier revision files may translate satisfactorily, but are not guaranteed to do so.

The drawing being imorted may be older than revision 12 and/or may contain invalid data."

Does anyone know a program that can open these files or a place to download 3030, 1530 and 1515 t-slot alum drawings.

    thanks for your help.

This is how I do it in SolidWorks.
Although I find there is usually too much detail and it really slows down an assy. I usually simplify all detail especially interior.
If you are using the mass properties you may not want to do this.
I have found that any of the aluminum build systems have rotten CAD files and I usually do a simple model of my own just keeping the important features correct.

If you are using SW 2004 try adding the profiles as a weldment feature. If you are familiar with weldments in SW 2004 you will absolutely love this.
