Hi,

Take all the tools out then hit E stop when the carousel moves forward on a manual tool change making it stop with the door open.
When you are finished you have to do a Toolchanger Restore to get the carousel back but because there are no tools to worry about that is easy.
If you have an older Mini which does not have the sliding covers on the tool pockets you can get a lot of chips inside the carousel. It is possible to retrofit a later version disc which costs about $300.
An open mind is a virtue...so long as all the common sense has not leaked out.
Hi plastibob
With the power off & the Z right up you can pull it forward by hand it takes a little to pull it, & when you power up it go's right back & you just home the machine out as normal.
You can push it back as well if you want or enough to clear the spindle its only hard to move because of the gearbox reduction that is connected to a arm on the end of the arm it has a camfoller bearing that moves up & down in a slot
