Question Mechanical engineer or good machinist NEEDED

    Hi everybody !

I'm comming from this thread of the Linear and Rotary Motion forum and we are facing a problem with the profile of radial thread on the rollers of a roller nut.

Here is the working proto of rokag3 but we still don't know what would be the "perfect" shape of the threads on the rollers that why rokag3 made the rollers of bronze

How to know what profile of the roller "thread" matches the threads of an ACME screw
and what to ask the machine shop for ?

    Any help is much apreciated.

    Thanks !
    cnc2.
