    post for fadal

    Hello everyone. I am new here so i'd like to say hello to everyone.
    i use mastercam x3 @ shop for Fadal machines but i have a little problem with Fadal post. first i don't see Fadal post 3 axis, and i can't put tool list at begining of program. Also i have to manual change to G49Z0 at the end of each tool (before tool change. So please help. thank you very much

    Does it no have a Fadal 4 axis post? if you right click on your tool path group, at the bottom there is a set-up sheet option with all your tool data. You don't need G49, at least I don't.

    thank you. If you don't use G49 at the end of each tool, what format to use?

    Calling a new H value cancels the current one, but I think it will work eather way.

    Do we really need M46 before drilling cycle?

    It is not required, but is a good idea if accuracy is a concern. Depending on what format you are running your machine in it may do it by default.
