Smart power feed for bench top machines

The above link is to demonstate the combination power feed and cnc feed single axis system that I built. It is smart because it can be used with a pc to use free demo programs like Mach3mill or mach3 turn to accomplish power feed but under G code control. In this video I show that a series of holes can be drilled using the cnc mode of operation.
In the manual power feed you can vary the speed and direction. It has a switch for run/stop and another for output enable so you can disengage the stepper motor windings and turn the handwheel by hand. It also smart because this is now the first axis of your cnc system. I have drill the base so I can add two more axis if I so desired and have three connectors so I can simply plug in additonal motors. The idea was poerfeed then move up to cnc but now get both and add additonal cnc later.
    Pretty slick
