ok, have not seen this one drawn like this before. I want to add a 10K ohm 10 turn pot for variable speed. I've done this many times on name brand drives, but would like a second opinion on this one. I'm guessing wiper on VI, and other two depending on CW/CCW of the pot.

    Thanks

The input is fairly standard, +10v VI is from the wiper and ACM is the common, the AI is for current loop control and is ignored.
CW or CCW is by FWD REV input

Thanks, Al, i meant turn of the pot increasing or decreasing the Freq.

So, standard hook up, VI to the wiper, VR and ACM to the other pot terminals, reverse VR and ACM on the terminals if freq increases with pot turning counter clockwise?

Not used to seeing the ground symbol on the VI in any other prints I have.

AFAIK it is standard +10 single ended, usually the option for ±10vdc does not exist, you reverse by the two L.V. inputs, (FWD REV contact closure).

Just a FYI, it was a standard three wire pot hook up for speed control. Drive fwd and reverse are done through digital inputs.
