    Hello everyone,
I have a twin spindle Okuma & Howa that upon start-up gives a 309 Ram Parity error does anyone know how to clear this or had experience with it?

Not really sure on the cause

But, IMO , I would backup all your progams, take a copy of your machine paramters & settings, ensure you have all the machines' data disks ready just in case.

On the side, after you have done the above, "Initialize" the memory ( where you store the part programs ).

check your manuals for the correct proceedure

We bought the machine used and have no manuals, It is a 910 ram parity alarm I looked up the alarm and it said to "perfrom a memory all clear" then input parameters manually but it does not have the procedure.

Ok, you seem to need to re-load the system disks back into the machine

#1-- what is the machine and control you have ? others can look at their manuals to help
#2-- back-up whatever you can before you re-load
#3-- make sure you have the procedure down pat before you start. Get as much info before starting

Not many can guide you before you post #1 answer
be exact in asking your questions and supply full info

ie Okuma actually give more info than "309 Ram Parity error " on the alarm line
the extra info can narrow problems down into a certain area
