    MACH 3 and XP

Hello all, very first post here. Sorry it is under these circumstances! Any how, I have Mach 3 installed on a fresh install of XP Pro, service pack 3. The DRIVERTEST crashes the system completely, no mouse movement, no keyboard, nada. The special driver does nothing at all. I've disabled all the non-essential processes running in the back ground, still nothing.

    System specs:

    XP Pro sp3
    1 GB RAM
    2 GHZ AMD Athlon

    What's my next move?

So, I've investigated the ICs and the docs say they can accept inputs up to 16 kHz. Since the Mach3 software starts at a baseline of 25 kHz, does this mean my axes are not controllable under Mach3?

25Khz is the max frequency. Try increasing the pulse width in the motor tuning. Increase up to 40 if you need to and see if that helps.
