Coolant Leak and Oil Pump cover

I discovered a coolant leak this week in my Tormach 1100. Turns out that years of chip buildup directly under the mill between the deluxe stand had caused abnormally high backup of flood coolant and the coolant was apparently leaking through the mounting bolts for the mill above the 1/2" thick riser blocks of the deluxe stand. The solution was to clean out the years of coagulated coolant and chips under the mill. I used a long thin steel bar to push the chip out to where my shop vac could suck it up. That's where the Dust Deputy vortex filter really helped. I finished by using a pressure washer to loosen the chips left.

Also I solved the the flood coolant getting into my manual oiler throught the vent hole in the cap by adding a 0.010" thick brass strip above the manual oiler. see picture below.

For me it was much simpler to just add the brass sheet metal cover.
