    Video: My 6040 CNC Cutting Carbon Fiber



    I'm going to be doing more videos on this CNC very soon.

    Great video. Thabks for sharing. I to agree info out there is minimal at best. I do get alot of answee here though.
    i was think of milling out carbon fiber parts for motorcycle and rc cars to, thats after i get the machine finished. But where do you get your carbon fiber? Do you layer the carbon fiber yourself or do you buy a plate for it already done?

    Is that a water cooled spindle without water running to it? Noticed fittings on top but no hoses.

    You should not be blowing that carbon dust everywhere, it's very hazardous.

    yeah for short runs i do....I just rebuilt the machine with new electronics.....i wouldnt run it for a long time that way.....but after 10-15 minutes the spindle isnt even warm.

    agree...normally i vacuum it up.....but need to make a shoe for this machine

    you can get pre made carbon panels over seas. i think frt - carbon still sells it.
