Hello all,

in the middle of a 2X2 plasma table build finally got the gantry to move and even ran a program. have a g540 but not sure how to attach the plasma machine to it. i have the plasma cutter ready i have a bulkhead connector with the machine wired so i can just run a jumper to turn the torch on, but how do i attach it to the machine to have the computer fire it?

sorry if this is a silly question but i'm new to the cnc stuff.

JB, thanks that helps a ton i kinda thought i was gonna need a relay but wasn't sure.

what relay are you using and where did you source it from? I am at the same stage and trying to get this thing fired up and cutting some material for jobs i have waiting.
