    need ede1204/L293D advice

    Thank you for your help.
I am trying to breadboard a 3 axis mill using the ede1204 and L293D driver.
I have kware and need help determining which of the pins iof the db25 connector to hook up so that I can get all three to work at the same time.
I have very small bipolar (4wire) steppers to run.
    Thanks,MHINK

If you followed the circuit in the data sheet on e-lab's website you do not have all of the circuit required to function. Look at the 1200 datasheet and the 4Mhz resonator is included in the circuit there. Also the line that allows free spin needs to be connected so it will not drift and setup free spin mode. I have these chips for some time but due to the poor docs I have not messed with them. This is just my rememberances from when I was working with them. I think these are PIC 16F84A chips and the Microchip web site Application notes may be of help.
