I have a conflict with my spindle speed and the speed the controller says the spindle is running. The DRO says 50% faster no matter what speed the spindle is actuallly running. The Fanuc drive is not alarming out but I changed the pulse counter on the spindle because is was giving an intermitent spindle abnormal speed alarm. That alarm no longer happens, but Fanuc and Ellison have been no help in telling me what do I adjust or parameter do I change so the two speeds match up.

what is the Spindle amplifier number ? Please confirm

Did you put a tac on the spindle to see if it is running at the commanded spindle speed? If so the you may need to change parameter 4003
