Does any one know where companies like dyna ,practical and torch mate
are getting the rack and pinions i like the racks with a 1.5 or so width i found one company called atlanta but they only sell metric i live over here in the usa trying to ind a company that sellls standard.

Rack face width varies with pitch, you should be able to get Boston Gear in most large cities.

Martin Sprocket & Gear, inc. has rack available in 2,4 & 6 ft. lengths, 14 1/2 20 deg. pressure angle, 3 to 24 pitch. They also provide additional sizes etc. if required.DZASTR
