I'm using BobCAD-CAM V28 with a post processor for a Centurion 6 controller. I have a milled hole with a Spiral Plunge lead-in that shows a nice helical spiral into the hole in the toolpath. However, the post is all linear XYZ moves - and yes, I checked the Arc Fit box on the Posting tab, and I do get arc moves in the post for other features. How do I get helical arc moves in the post? (It should only take 15-20 lines of code, but is taking about 400 lines of code with linear moves.)

I could be wrong but seem to remember spiral leads were a feature that wasn't available in V28, it was stated as planned for a later release?
Someone more knowledgeable will undoubtedly be along shortly,

Nick - thanks for the response. I heard essentially the same thing from a guy on the BobCAD forums (he suggested that I try here for a larger audience), I guess this means V28 really doesn't generate helical leads using arc moves. Anyone know if this was added in V29?

Yes, it was rectified in V29
