I thought I would post some pics of my new 15hp American Rotary Phase Converter. Seems the contactor is only rated for 40 amps....Hmm.

Wiring appears a bit amateurish, I get a kick out of the 300amp bus bars

11-24-2008, 04:28 AM #3cmacclel GuestYes the bus bars appear to be maybe 1/4" x 3/4" aluminum plate chemkoted. I can't believe I have to run this on a 40 amp breaker but need feed it with 4ga!!
